This department is for TDWC Mentors whom take time out to help new members get started on TDWC. If you are a new member and would like to have a member help you, Please come in and request one. Remember to read the Guidelines before posting a Character and or ability application. All Character and Ability Applications are to be posted in this section. If it is accepted, then it will be placed in the "Character Biographies" area. If it isn't, it will be placed in the "Pending Applications" section.

The dungeons is where you can find all sorts of things to get into. The Potion Master has all authority over this place, so beware when entering or you may end up running into some trouble. Also on this floor, you will find the kitchens. So if you get hungry during the middle of the night this is where you can go to grab something to eat. There is another section of the dungeons that is available to those who like to throw secret parties, but beware of the Slytherins, they may come in and wreck your party and start one of their own.

When you enter the castle from the outside, you have to enter through the Entrance hall. The Great Hall is where all your meals are served and school announcements are made. If you are looking for the Caretaker or School Counselors, look down the hall and on your left. When staff meetings take place, retire to the Staff Room.

On this level of the school you can find many things to get into, just make sure you don't get caught by the Deputy Headmistress. Otherwise, you will get into a lot of trouble. The Deputy Headmistress's office is on this floor, so if you as a student or as a staff member have any questions her office is down on the hall. On the opposite end of the Corridor, there is the Nurse's office and the Hospital Wing for those whom are injured or need medical help.

As you enter the second floor of the school, there is Moaning Myrtle's bathroom on the left side of corridor, the little girl Myrtle still haunts the bathroom. There are also empty classrooms that have never been used, why they were put in was unknown. At the end of the corridor is another long corridor that is empty. Some say that this is where the Room of Requirements was found, is it true? Test the myth to find out.

The statue of the Humpedback Witch is a secret passage into Hogsmeade. If you continue down the long corridor there are other classrooms that aren't in use. Some use them for parties and others use them as a place to escape. Sometimes at night you can hear the paintings talking about things that have happened over the centuries since the school had been built. Just whatever you do, do not go into the last classroom on the right.

Upon entering the fourth floor, there's a corridor here that is Forbidden. There's a reason it's forbidden, now if you want to get tangled with the Poltergeist Peeves, then you need not go down that corridor. If you go down another corridor you will come to the Mirror of Erised.

This floor doesn't really have much going on in it, so most of the students that have come and gone over the years have decided to use the empty classrooms for club meetings. It eventually started became the Clubs floor. The name settled in and fit the floor perfectly. So if you wanted to start a club or join a pre-existing club, do so in here. Just see the details within.

After the downfall of the Dark Lord, the new Headmaster had decided to use this floor for where his office will be located. Also on this floor is where some Aurors and other people from the Ministry come to implement the schools security and to protect the school as well as it's students. Unless you are there to see the Headmaster, take caution of this floor, otherwise you will find yourself in big trouble with the Aurors.

3rd yrs and up may choose an elective class if they would like to. All elective classes are located in this section of Hogwarts.

Sub-boards: Mythology, Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Muggle Studies, Astronomy, History of Magic, Divination

These are Secondary Elective classes for Sixth and Seventh years only. They target Career oriented students who know what they want to be when they graduate.

The headquarters of the Daily Prophet are located in Diagon Alley, as the newspaper instructs that letters to the editor should be sent here by owl.

Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron in London ("Three up...two across...") will reveal an archway which is a portal into Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants.

Just around the corner from Diagon Alley lies a dark, twisting alleyway devoted to the Dark Arts: Knockturn Alley. It's a place not only are the wares sold their a bit dodgy, but the wizards hanging around behave fairly suspiciously as well. From the shops and the street vendors one can purchase Dark Arts items.

Partway down Diagon Alley, near its intersection with Knockturn Alley, stands an imposing snow-white marble building: Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Towering over the other shops, it is the place where British witches and wizards store their money and other valuables, in vaults miles below ground.

The headquarters of the Ministry of Magic is located in the heart of London. The actual structure is all underground, although magical windows show whatever weather Magical Maintenance has chosen for the day, from bright sunshine to hurricanes. Don't forget to dial 62442 and then state your business.

Located just down the road from Hogwarts. A picturesque little village of thatched cottages and shops, with enchanted candles hanging in the trees during the holidays
